Reese
Hanoverian/Thoroughbred
Reese, the 16hh Hanoverian/Thoroughbred (born 6/7/2007), is looking for a new home with a committed horse enthusiast or professional.
He is a registered performance horse (CA Lost Crusader) trained in dressage and hunter/jumper. According to his pedigree, he is a great-great-great ‘grandson’ of Bold Ruler, the sire of Secretariat.

Reese was acquired by my teen daughter from her former trainer in November 2018. Through no fault of his own, he’s mostly been hanging out in my pasture for 2 years and is out of work as my daughter lost interest in horses and no longer rides.
The ideal home would be with a horse-savvy owner who will invest a little time and energy into him and allow him to reclaim his talent and purpose. With a confident rider, there is nothing he won’t be able to do after a little ‘refresher course.’
Reese would make a great pleasure horse too. He has a forward trot and a very smooth canter. He has very good feet and does not require shoes.
He is sweet and has a wonderful puppy-dog personality too!
Reese is located in the Tryon, NC area. His farrier is Randy Autrey and his vet is Miller Thornbury with Hunt Country Equine.
A reasonable rehoming fee applies for the right person and situation.
